Black holes are well understood. Being weird does not mean that nerds like physicists can't make a sense of something. After all, nerds are weird too. Just take the math there is, as there is the truth like a professor of mine back in the days I studied physics never ceased to tell us. If the math is weird, time becomes space and space becomes time, so be it. Quantum physics is even more challenging. Luckily we never really need to care what happens inside a black hole. Unless one produces a movie like Interstellar, that is.
