I think you are going off-track here in your otherwise so far excellent argument. Isn't that the sci-fi game again that you learned to distrust in a hard way?

The complementary technology to wind and solar power will be energy storage (my house runs on solar energy and can stay a 10 hour night just running on battery). There are simple solutions as well here like lifting a 10 ton mass up, and let it come down driving a turbine when needed. And the hydrogen fuel cell isn't forgotten :) We will have large production of green hydrogen by excess solar and wind power for various needs including being the fuel for transporters. It will eventually replace all usages of natural gas as well as it is a simple replacement. And it will eventually replace heating houses with oil.
